Catering Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the event date. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
2. Guest Numbers
Final guest numbers must be confirmed 14 days prior to the event. Increases in guest numbers may be accommodated subject to availability and will be charged accordingly. Reductions in guest numbers after this time cannot be refunded.
3. Cancellations
The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will be charged at 100% of the total booking value. Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event will forfeit the deposit only.
4. Menu & Allergies
Menu items are subject to availability and may be substituted with similar items if required. We cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dietary requirements when advised at least 7 days in advance. Any special dietary requirements notified after this time will incur a supplementary charge, which will be confirmed prior to the event. While every care is taken, food is prepared in an environment that handles allergens and cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed.
5. Setup & Service
No ongoing service or supervision is provided unless agreed in advance. Setup time is approximately 45 minutes, subject to venue access. Once setup is complete, responsibility for the food passes to the client.
6. Food Safety & Leftovers
Food is intended for consumption during the event period. Any leftovers may be left with the client at their own discretion and risk. We cannot accept responsibility for food consumed after the event or not stored correctly.
7. Venue Access & Delays
The client is responsible for ensuring venue access at the agreed time. Delays to access may result in a reduced setup time; pricing remains unchanged.
8. Damage & Loss
Any loss or damage to catering equipment, boards or styling items caused by guests or venue staff will be chargeable. An invoice will be issued following the event to recoup the cost of repair or replacement.
9. Travel & Location
Travel costs are not included unless specifically stated in the agreed quote. Any applicable travel, mileage or parking charges will be confirmed prior to booking.
The client is responsible for ensuring suitable access, parking and unloading facilities at the venue.
